Glenalta Scraps

Many hearts were made to feel sad last Thursday by the announcement of the 
death of Mr. L.A. Jester, one of our best citizens.  Mr. Jester was about 40 
years old, born and raised in Clay County, Ga.  He has lived in this county for 
a number of years and won the confidence and love of all who knew him.  He was 
sick only a week with pneumonia.  He leaves a wife and several small children 
who certainly have the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community.  He was a 
consistent member of the Baptist church, only a few days ago ordained a deacon 
on Union church.
