Death of Mrs. Sarah A. Jackson

Mrs. Sarah A. Jackson died at her home in Buena Vista yesterday morning at five 
o’clock, very suddenly, though not altogether unexpectedly.  She has been an 
invalid for a long time, being afflicted with rheumatism and heart trouble, the 
latter being the immediate cause of her death.

She was raised in Upson County, and came to Buena Vista soon after the war, 
where she has since resided.  She was a consistent member of the Baptist 
church, and died in the faith of her blessed Redeemer.  She leaves five 
children to mourn her loss, who have the sympathy of the community in their sad 
affliction.  

The remains started at noon yesterday by private conveyance for Thomaston, 
where they will be buried.
