Published Thursday, June 20, 1963, The Vero Beach Press Journal, Vero Beach, FL Obituaries W.T. Jordan W.T. Jordan, 53, of 3900 Atlantic Blvd., Vero Beach, passed away suddenly Sunday night at the Indian River Memorial Hospital. Mr. Jordan was born on Feb. 3, 1910, in Georgia, and he moved to Vero Beach 15 years ago. He was a member of the Church of Christ of Vero Beach. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Delia F. Jordan, Vero Beach; three daughters, Miss Louise Jordan, Vero Beach; Mrs. Judy Dowlatt, Albuquerque, New Mexico; and, Miss Lucy Jordan, St. Simon's Island, Georgia; and five sons, Joseph and John Jordan, both of Vero Beach; Robert L. Jordan, Fort Benning, Georgia; William O. Jordan, Miami; and James Jordan, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Other survivors are a brother, Joe R. Jordan, Leary, Georgia; and four sisters, Mrs. Sarah Autry, Leary, Georgia; Mrs. Elma Fisher, Fort Lauderdale, Mrs. Lillie Bee Braswell, Miami; and Mrs. Rose Powell, Atlanta, Georgia. Services were on Wednesday at the Cox-Gifford-Baldwin Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Heber Lyon and the Rev. Daniel Tamm, both of the Church of Christ, officiating. Burial was at the Crestlawn Cemetery.
