Kilcrease, arrived at Doyle last Wednesday at 4 p.m., from Milledgeville, where she had been an inmate of the state sanitarium for the past eighteen months. It was a sad spectacle at the depot when the train stopped, all her former schoolmates had assembled to met her, but all was silent as six stalwart men took the casket bearing all that was mortal of their little friend, and gently putting it in a wagon, it was conveyed to her mother’s home a few hundred yards away, where it rested until 9 a.m. on Thursday, and was then taken to Tazewell and buried about 12 or 1 o’clock. The bereft family have the heartfelt sympathy of all who know them.
