Kinard Killed By Train Mr. James B. Kinnard, of Atlanta was run down and killed by a train last Friday afternoon. Mr. Kinard is a Marion County boy, and his parents and relatives live near Draneville. He was about 37 years old and leaves a wife and two children. Mr. Kinnard was in the employ of the National Paper Company, and was on his way home, walking over the crossing in the W. & A. yards, when he was struck by a passing train, and died several hours later. The Marion County Patriot, No. 49 Friday, December 20, 1907 Page Two Doyle The family of Mr. William Kinard were painfully shocked by the news of the untimely death, by accident, of his son, Barney Kinard, in Atlanta last Friday night. The entire Dranesville community and a host of friends in every part of the county deeply sympathize with them in their bereavement. Additional Comments: Transcriber's note: The spelling of the last name in the articles appears as both Kinard and Kinnard. I'm not a researcher of this family and don't know which spelling is the correct one.
