KING, DREDDIE Sr.
Mr. King was born December 10, 1912 in Chattahoochee County, GA to Frank and 
Emma King.  He married his wife, Ella W King and they joined the Shady Grove 
Baptist Church.    He retired from Murray Construction Company.   
Mr. King died September 10, 1991 at Marion Memorial Nursing Home in Buena 
Vista, GA.  Funeral services were held Saturday, September 14, 1991 at Mt 
Olive Baptist Church in Tazewell, Marion County, GA; Reverend Oglesby 
officiated.  Grandsons served as pallbearers. Burial in the Tazewell 
Cemetery.  His survivors include his wife; 10 children:  Hattie mae Rollison, 
Annie Laura Pearyear and Love Smith, all of Detroit, MI, Sarah Frances Evans 
and Letty Majors, both of Columbus, GA, Barbara D Milner and Betty Irving, 
both of Buena Vista, GA, Mr. Hosie King, Lester King and Dreddie King, Jr., 
all of Buena Vista, GA.  A brother, Mr. Freddie King of Buena Vista, GA; a 
sister-in-law, Annie Hardison in Los Angeles, CA; 44 grandchildren, 27 great 
grandchildren, 3 great, great grandchildren.
