Allen “Skip” Kurtz, 45, of Buena Vista, died Monday, August 30, 2010, at the 
Medical Center in Columbus.

Visitation was held at Tante Funeral Home on Thursday, September 2, 2010 from 
3:00-8:00PM. The Firefighter’s Honor Guard from Forsyth County, Georgia, was 
in attendance to perform the Last Call and Last Alarm ceremonies.

Survivors include his parents, Robert Harvey and Joyce Ackiss Kurtz, and a 
sister Betty Christine & James R. Simmons, all of Buena Vista. Several Aunts, 
Uncles, Cousins and friends also survive.  He was preceded in death by his 
maternal grandparents, Howard & Ola Ackiss and his paternal grandparents, 
Archie Elmer & Oma Elizabeth Kurtz.

Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista, Georgia was in charge of arrangements.
