Lowe, died last Saturday morning at 1 o’clock. A very few people knew that she was seriously ill when they heard of her death and consequently was a great surprise to many. Her remains were laid to rest in the Methodist cemetery Saturday afternoon at 5 o’clock. The funeral was preached by Rev. R.L. Wiggins in the church and a large number of people were there to do honor to the memory of the deceased by their presence. Mrs. Lowe was a good Christian woman, a devoted mother and wife, and she died in the faith of her blessed Redeemer. She is gone but the lost to her loved ones on earth is her eternal gain. The Patriot joins the people of the town and county generally in extending sympathy to Judge Lowe in the hour of his sore affliction.
