Darlene Marlowe, age 70 of Tazewell, Georgia died Monday, February 9, 2009 at
Magnolia Manor of Marion County after a lengthy illiness.  A memorial was 
held  l:00PM Friday, February 13, 2009 at First Baptist Church Buena Vista, 
Georgia with Rev. Chris Hess officiating.

Mrs. Marlowe was born February 26, 1938 in Lake Wales, Florida the daughter of 
the late Paul and Beryl Frye Howell.  She had lived in Tazewell for the past 
16 years moving here from Richland, Georgia.  She was a member of First 
Baptist Church Buena Vista, Georgia and worked as office manager and 
transcriptionist for several physicians before her retirement.

Survivors include her husband Howard Marlowe of Tazewell, Georgia, son, 
Matthew Marlowe and Lilia of Forsyth, Georgia, daughters Cindy Evans and Marty 
of Tazewell, Georgia, Deanna Dionne and Page of Enterprise, Alabama, sister, 
Mary Jean Gardner of Washington State,  9 Grandchildren and 6 Great 
Grandchildren.

Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista, Georgia was in charge of arrangements.
