MARY ELIZABETH McCORKLE   APRIL 7,1911   MAY 11, 2006

BUENA VISTA, GA.  Mary Elizabeth McCorkle,age 95, of Buena Vista, GA. died  
Thursday,May 11,2006 at Magnolia Manor of Marion County.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 13, 2006 at 11.30 A.M. at Tazewell 
United Methodist Church with Rev. Tom Edwards officiating. Burial will be in 
Tazewell Cemetery.

Mrs. McCorkle was born April 7, 1911 in Marion County, the daughter of James C. 
Halley and Mamie Fouche.She was the widower of Jabez McCorkle, JR.

Survivors include Son: Jabez McCorkle,111 of Griffin,GA.;daughters; Adrienne 
Hamby of Peachtree City, GA.;Juanita Ringo of Albany, GA.;Gloria Shannon of 
Albany, GA.;10 Grandchildren; 19 Great-Grandchildren; 1 Great- Great 
Granddaughter; She was preceded in death by children;Charles Harold McCorkle 
and Dianne McCorkle. 

Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista, GA. in charge of arrangements with Randy  
McCorkle, Brain McCorkle,Michael McCorkle,Patrick McCorkle, Christopher 
McCorkle, Drew Wall, Derek Wall, Nicholas Cox, Joseph Cox,and Kevin McCorkle as 
pallbearers.

Additional Comments:
Mrs McCorkle was the longest living member of Tazewell United Methodist Church 
for over 80 years.

She had lived in Marion County all her life.
