Caroline (Wight) McDaniel
February 26, 1934 ~ September 18, 2020 (age 86)

Mrs. Caroline Wight McDaniel, 86, of Birmingham, AL, passed away on Friday, 
September 18, 2020, at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. A private 
family graveside service will be held at Buena Vista Cemetery.

Mrs. McDaniel was born in Buena Vista, GA, on February 26, 1934, to Thomas 
Burton Wight and Virginia Williams Wight. She retired from Metro Office 
Supply, a family owned business in Johnson City, TN. Mrs. McDaniel was a 
faithful daughter of our Lord Jesus Christ. She was a devoted wife, loving 
mother, and cherished grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was 
preceded in death by her husband, C. L.”Mac” McDaniel and her twin brother, 
William Lawrence Wight.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Monica McDaniel and 
her daughter, Cathy McDaniel; a brother, T Burton Wight; and by four 
grandchildren, Aaron McDaniel, John McDaniel, Denzel McDaniel, and Elizabeth 
McDaniel.
