Funeral services for Miss Lula McMichael who died Saturday in the nursing home 
here, will be held at 11 A.M. today at the graveside in Methodist Cemetery in 
Buena Vista. The Rev. Lewis Spivey will officiate.

Miss McMichael had lived recently in Decatur and Emory University.

A native of Buena Vista, she was the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. James Jr. 
McMichael. She taught for a number of years in LaGrante and Marietta and at 
North Avenue Presbyterian School in Atlanta. She is survived by several nieces 
and nephews, including Mrs. Cary Pickard, Dr. Hugh McMichael and Mrs. Thomas 
L. Ross of Macon, Mrs. Miller R. Bell of Milledgeville, Mrs. James Dickson 
Wright, Edgar H. Johnson and Mrs. Luis Rauchenbert and Mrs. R.L. McMichael of 
Atlanta. The family requested that flowers be omitted. Clements Funeral Home 
of Buena Vista is in charge there. Hart's Mortuary was in charge of local 
arrangements
