Graveside services will be held at Tazewell Cemetery on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 3:00 PM. Family and friends of Randy can visit on Tuesday from 9:00 – 5:00 PM at Way-Watson Funeral Home, Ellaville. Randy was born December 16, 1973 in Columbus, Georgia. He was a devoted husband, father, son, bubba, uncle, and pop pop. Randy lived a life that no one else could. He was a one of a kind. He loved everyone and never knew a stranger. He was outgoing, spontaneous, and fun. He was happiest on his farm with his wife. Mary brought Randy a love that can never be broken. He was the most selfless person who would do anything for anyone. To know him was to love him and everyone knew him. There will be a hole that can never be filled for those who knew him best. Randy taught us all that life is an adventure and to go out and explore it. Not stressing over material things because in the end they’re worthless. He was always up for anything; and when he picked a new hobby, he would jump all in. He was fearless. He didn’t care what anyone thought of him. There are no words that adequately describe who Randy truly was and there can be nothing written that can do him justice. He was preceded in death by a loving mother, Patty McPhail and a brother, Matt McPhail; and his father-in-law, Ronnie Tompkins. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Mary Snow McPhail; his son Caleb McPhail; two daughters, Bessie McPhail and Tiffany Camp; granddaughters, Presleigh and Sadie; his father, Mitchell McPhail; his mother- in-law Betty Tompkins; sister and brother-in-law, Matt and Beth Pearce; sisters- in-law, Kristi McPhail, Debbie Bissaillon and Tracy Barfield; nieces and nephews, Garrett, Aline, Reilly, Morgan, Bowen, Susannah, Gus, Kaci, Jordan, Pat, Ciera, Alex, Jay and Ray.
