Merrill Harbuck Moody, 79, of Tazewell, GA, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2015, at

St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA,

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, June 13, 2015, in the Chapel 
of Watson-Tante Funeral Home.  Burial will follow the service in Tazewell Cemetery. 

The family will greet friends on Friday, June 12, 2015, from 6:00-8:00pm.

Mrs. Moody was born in Marion County, GA, on April 9, 1936, to William Henry and 
Pauline Icard Harbuck. She was a member of Tazewell Baptist Church where she played

the piano for many years.  She had worked as a secretary.  Mrs. Moody enjoyed her 
family.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank

H. Moody.

She is survived by two sons, Keith and Dania Moody of Woodstock, GA, and Tom and 
Jodie Moody of Hiram, GA; a daughter, Jerri Allen of Marietta, GA; two brothers, 
Henry and Jan Harbuck of Monroe, LA, and Paul Harbuck of Mabelton, GA; a sister, 
Ellen and Howard Duke of Shellman, GA; five grandchildren, Tori Moody, Hannah Moody,

Kaylee Moody, Jessica Gates, and Shane Bradshaw, and one great-grandchild, Anna Rae

Murray.

Watson-Tante Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
