Jennifer Kay Gilbert Moore, 40, of Box Springs, Georgia died Wednesday, 
January 23, 2008 at her home.

A memorial service celebrating Mrs. Moore’s life was held Saturday, January 
26, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. at Brown Springs Church of God in Box Springs according 
to Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista.

Mrs. Moore was born October 23, 1967 in Columbus, Georgia to Melvin Gilbert 
and the late Nancy Kay Patrick Shine. She was Baptist by faith. She moved to 
Box Springs from Columbus eight years ago and recently became a licensed 
cosmetologist. She was a cancer survivor of 8 years and was loved by 
everyone.  

She is survived by her husband, Robert Douglas Moore; a son, Christopher Brian 
Wilson of Box Springs; a daughter, Rachel Elizabeth Moore of Box Springs; two 
brothers, Jamie Shine of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Patrick Shine of Columbus; 
and her grandparents, Jim and Joan Patrick.
