Marion McDaniel Moore
Born: September 08, 1938
Died: October 13, 2015

Marion McDaniel Moore, 77 of Waverly Hall, GA formerly of Marion County died 
Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital, Columbus, GA. 


Funeral services for Mrs. Moore will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, October 17, 2015 
at the Chapel of Cox Funeral Home, Manchester with burial in the Oak Hill 
Cemetery, Waverly Hall, GA. The family will receive friends Friday evening at 
the funeral home from 6:00- 8:00 pm . 


Mrs. Moore was born September 8, 1938 in Marion County, GA the daughter of 
William Morris James McDaniel and Gertrude Ever Bryan McDaniel. She was retired 
as the Owner/Operator of Sandy Acres Farms in Marion County. She attended the 
Melody Lakes Baptist Church, Waverly Hall and was the widow of Clyde Edward 
Moore. 


She is survived by her daughters Jo Ann Moore of Columbus and Ramona Mott of 
Locust Grove, GA; son Roy Moore and his wife Sherri of Beaufort, SC; sister 
“Betty” Sue Brown of Zebulon, NC and brother James McDaniel of Lula, GA; 
grandchildren Colby Mott, Dale Nozworthy, Clinton Mott, Savannah Stout and Noah 
Mott and nieces and nephews.
