Ann (Harbuck) Murray
December 17, 1934 ~ June 26, 2021 (age 86)

Mrs. Ann H. Murray, 86, of Tazewell, GA, passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021, 
at Piedmont Northside Hospital in Columbus, GA. A private family graveside will 
be held at Tazewell Cemetery with Rev. David Chapman officiating. Friends may 
visit with Mrs. Murray on Sunday, June 27, 2021, from 1:00-4:00pm. 
 
Mrs. Murray was born December 17, 1934, to Cliff and Louise Garrett Harbuck. She 
was a bookkeeper for several companies prior to her employment with the 
Department of Family and Children Services.  During her tenure with DFCS, she 
worked in Crisp, Macon, Schley, and Marion counties before retiring after 35 
years of service. Mrs. Murray loved her family, her dogs, and reading.  Her 
hobbies included antiquing and collecting Barbie.  Christmas was her favorite 
holiday. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, 
David Rabon “Ray” Murray and a great-granddaughter, Maddie Page.
 
She is survived by a son, Dave and Carla Murray, three daughters, Jackie and 
Ricky Page, Jill Murray-Miller, and Minda and John Rigdon, and a son-in-law, 
Keith Miller, all of Buena Vista, GA; by her grandchildren, Jilliann and Dusty 
Williams, Garrett and Alex Page, Cori and Max Shubert, Ali Rae and Jacob 
Reddoch, John Will Rigdon, Benjamin and Lynn Murray, Trina Murray and Shane 
Bradshaw, and Clifford Murray; and by her great-grandchildren, Caiden and Camryn 
Reddoch, Ellie Williams, Anna Rae and Caroline Klaire Murray, Magnolia Ann 
Shubert, Beaux Page, Annalee and Maddie Taylor as well as numerous friends and 
extended family.
 
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities 
Inc., 26345 Network Place, Chicago, IL, 60673-1263 or Deep South Canine Rescue, 
P.O. Box 826, Ellaville, GA, 31806.
