Peggy Mutchock, age 54, of Box Springs, Georgia, died Tuesday, January 25, 
2011, at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 5, 2011, at New Beginning 
Freewill Baptist Church at 11:00 AM.  Reverend Dallas Short officiated. The 
family received friends at Tante Funeral Home on Thursday, January 27, 2011 
from 7 to 9 PM.

Mrs. Mutchock was born November 20, 1956, in Columbus, Georgia, to Ira Leon 
and Jessie Leatherwood Evans. Baptist by faith, she was a member of New 
Beginning Freewill Baptist Church. She was a member of the Junction City Fire 
Department Auxillary. She had been employed as a cashier. In addition to her 
parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sarah Mae Gross.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond and Sandra Mutchock 
of Columbus, and Cecil and Crystal Collum of Smiths Station, AL; by two 
sisters, Shirley Drane Short and Rebecca Kay Evans, both of Marion County; and 
by a brother-in-law, Tommy Gross. 11 Grandchildren also survive.

Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista, Georgia, was in charge of arrangements.
