Glenalta Scraps

Mrs. R.A. McCurdy died at her home near Pleasant Hill Sunday night in the 40th 
year of her life.  She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Zachariah Chambliss.  She 
was raised near Buena Vista and made a noble and good woman.  She was a 
faithful wife and a tender mother. She was a member of the Baptist church.  The 
bereaved husband and three little ones have the sympathy of the entire 
community.  Her remains were interred at Union church last Tuesday in the 
presence of a large concourse of sorrowing friends.  Revs. F.M. Blalock, A.P. 
Allison and Jasper Smith officiating in the burial services.
