McComb breathed her last about 4 o’clock Monday afternoon. She had been in declining health several years, but the past twelve months she has been confined to her room the greater part of the time. She has suffered much but is now at rest. The funeral took place from the residence Tuesday morning at 9 o’clock. Rev. R.B. Taylor, pastor of the Baptist church, of which she was a member, conducted the funeral services. Her remains were laid to rest in the Methodist cemetery by the side of her daughter, Mrs. Long, who preceded her several years. Mrs. McComb leaves a husband and several grandchildren to mourn her death, and the people of Buena Vista sympathize with them in their great hour of sorrow. Card of Thanks We desire to return our sincere thanks to the good people of Buena Vista for their great kindness during the last sickness, death and burial of our loved one, and we will ever hold them in grateful remembrance.
