Mr. McGill for several years had been living with his son, F.T. McGill. Uncle John, as he was called, was only visiting at the home of Mr. Foster. The day he died he was sitting in a chair and suddenly fell to the floor dead. “Another heart is stilled, Death has left an aching void the world can never fill.” Mr. McGill united himself with the Methodist church several years ago, being a member at Liberty. The people of this community extend to the bereaved children their tenderest sympathy. It is hard indeed to give up such a loving and affectionate father. We cannot see why, but it is right and just that we should part with our loved ones, but in the great beyond, we will never have to say goodbye, no more farewells and no partings in that land prepared for the just.
