Mitchell died at his home near Blueville Tuesday night and was buried at Providence cemetery Wednesday afternoon, Rev. R.B. Taylor conducting the burial service. The deceased was a pioneer citizen of this county, about 80 years old, and dearly beloved by a large circle of relatives and friends. He was not connected with any church but was a firm believer in saving grace of the beloved Christ, was a good moral man, a good citizen, charitable and kind, willing at all times to help his neighbor, loved and provided well for his wife and family, and we have no doubt that it is well met with his soul. His wife has been dead several years, but he leaves several sons and daughters to hold dear his memory.
