Joanna Frances Zeier Nobles, 55, of Box Springs died Saturday, April 19, 2008 
at the Medical Center in Columbus, GA.

Graveside Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at Brown 
Springs Cemetery with Reverend Bob Powell officiating. The family received 
friends at Tante Funeral Home Monday evening. Serving as active pallbearers 
were, Ricky Rye, Joey Laudermilk, Ronnie Nobles, James Brooks, Bobby Nobles, 
Jr., and Spencer Belden. Honorary pallbearers were James T. Campbell, Vernon 
Batchelor, Clifford Nobles and Jerry Nobles. 

Mrs. Nobles was born August 22, 1952 to Joseph and Virginia Headley Zeier. 
Coming from Delta Junction, Alaska, Mrs. Nobles had been living here since 
1990. She was Catholic by faith and attended Brown Springs Church of God. A 
family oriented person, she was very active with her grandchildren and was 
always a volunteer at school. She loved to garden and had been around the 
military her entire life. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph 
Zeier, and a sister Mary Margaret Zeier. 

She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Bobby Nobles of Box Springs, her 
mother, Virginia Headley Zeier, of Clarksville, TN; by a son, Bobby Jr. and 
wife Michelle Nobles of Buena Vista; by two daughters, Chelsea Nobles and 
Melissa and husband James Brooks, of Box Springs; two sisters, Mary McSpadden 
of Nashville, TN, and Candace and husband Ricky Rye of Clarksville, TN; and by 
five grandchildren, Spencer Belden, Hayley Belden, Kane Nobles, Athenea 
Nobles, and Lea Nobles.

Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista was in charge of arrangements.
