Mr. Sam Nicholson Dead

Mr. Sam Nicholson died at his home near Pineville last Monday morning at 9 
o’clock after an illness of three weeks with pneumonia.  He was thought to be 
getting on finely and his physician had dismissed him when he was taken with a 
violent relapse Sunday night and died the next day.  His remains were buried at 
Pineville Tuesday.  Besides his wife and several children he leaves many 
relatives and friends to mourn his death.  He was one of Marion County’s most 
highly respected citizens and will be greatly missed from the community in 
which he lived.
