Mr. C.C.Owens Dead

Mr. C.C. Owens, of Tazewell, died of pneumonia Thursday afternoon, the 5th inst.
 He was sick but a few days, being afflicted with consumption it did not take
the last contracted disease long to do its work.  Mr. Owens was justice of the
peace in the Tazewell district, a merchant at Tazewell and was a clever man.  He
leaves a wife and several children to mourn his loss.
