The Death Roll

The many friends of Dr. T.B. Shepherd, will regret to learn of his death, which 
took place in New York last Wednesday from a brief illness of pneumonia.  Dr. 
Shepherd was a son of Capt. J.A. Shepherd, of Buena Vista and one of the 
brightest and most promising young men of Marion County.  At the time of his 
death he was in attendance at college.  His remains were buried in Buena Vista 
on Sunday.
