Weaver passed away Saturday evening at the home of her son-in- law, Mr. E.B. Reese, after an illness of about three months duration. Mrs. Weaver was born and reared in Marion County and had lived there practically all her life. She had been twice married, the first time to the Hon. Morgan McMichael. To this union one daughter survives: Mrs. E.B. Reese. Her second marriage was to the late Dr. J.A. Weaver. To this union three children survive: Misses Josephine Weaver of Milledgeville and Aurelia Weaver, of Quitman and one son, John S. Weaver, a recent graduate of Mercer University. She is also survived by two foster children: Mr. T.A.D. Weaver of Pennsylvania and Mrs. Tristan Stevens of Ellaville. Mrs. Weaver was 59 years of age. For many years she was a consistent member of the Baptist church of Buena Vista. She was a lady of high attainments, Christian character, a loving mother and she will be missed by our people. The funeral services were conducted at the Baptist church by Rev. H.D. Warnock, assisted by Rev. M.M. Marshall of the Methodist church, interment at the Baptist cemetery.
