Henry Grady Beard 
 
Buena Vista, Ga. -- Henry Grady Beard, 62, of Marion Memorial Nursing Home,  
Buena Vista, died there Wednesday. 
 
The funeral will be 3 p. m. today at New Life Freewill Baptist Church, Marion  
County, with burial in New Life Cemetery, according to Tante Funeral Home. 
 
Mr. Beard was born Aug. 24, 1924, in Eastman.  His parents' names were not  
available.  He lived in Atlanta most of his life before moving to Buena Vista  
seven months ago.  He was a Baptist and retired as a steel worker in Atlanta. 
 
Survivors include three sisters, Mary Wilson of Doraville, Lydia Rowe of  
Augusta and Peggy Hawkins of Unadilla.

Henry Grady Beard was a son of Julius Oscar Beard and Claudia Edmondson Beard.   
He was born 24 August 1924 in Eastman, Dodge Co., GA and died 07 January 1987  
in Buena Vista, Marion Co., GA.
