Mrs. Preston Dead

Mrs. Jerushia Preston died at the home of Mrs. E.C. Jester last Wednesday 
afternoon after an illness of only two days with a heart trouble.

Mrs. Preston came in from the country Saturday afternoon to visit Mrs. Jester, 
and Monday night she was taken ill.

Her remains were taken to Union church yesterday for burial, as her husband and 
several children are buried there.

Mrs. Preston was 79 years of age.  Five children survive her and these are Mrs. 
Jennie Barberee of Baker County, Mrs. R.L. Hatcher, of Macon, Mr. E.R. Preston 
of this county, Mr. Crawford Preston of Sasser and Mr. Tom Preston of Cedar 
Springs.  She was also the grandmother of Misses Shular, Madge and Jeffie and 
Cos and Cole Hillman.

Mrs. E.C. Jester desires to return thanks to the people of Buena Vista for acts 
of kindness and attention during the illness and death of Mrs. Preston which 
took place at her home Wednesday afternoon.
