Samual J Parker , age 74 of Buena Vista, Georgia died Thursday, November 30, 
2006 at Magnolia Manor Nursing Center in Americus, Georgia.

Funeral services were held Sunday, December 3, 2006 at 2p.m. at the Chapel of 
Tante Funeral Home , Buena Vista, Georgia with Rev. Chris Hess officiating. 
Burial was in Buena Vista Cemetery. 

Mr Parker was born March 12,1932 in Marion County the son of the late Annie 
Boyette Hogg and John Jackson Parker.

Survivors include his wife Mary Bates Parker of Buena Vista, GA.;daughters; 
Deborah Anne Lawhorn and husband Walter of Buena Vista, GA;and Sandra Elaine 
Leonard and friend Jeff Lowe of Jacksonville, Florida; brother, Dennis Parker 
and wife Norma of Buena Vista, GA;sister Mary Underwood of Newnan, GA. 
grandchildren: Samual Robert Bell and wife Tamsyn of Jacksonsville, Fl, Dustin 
Sanfur Bell of Buena Vista, GA.;three great grand children-Hannah Bell, Zoey 
Bell and Kayleigh Bell.

Mr Parker was preceded in death by a sister, Bertha Maude Parker.
Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista , GA. was in charge of arrangements, with 
John Martin Parker, Clifford Waller, Billy Joe Waller, Steve Hendricks, Frank 
Hendricks, T. Renard and Roy Waller as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were 
Bill Clark and James Bryson.
