Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2015, at 1:00PM in the Chapel of Watson-Tante Funeral Home with Rev. Luke Forsyth officiating. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Saturday, January 3, 2015, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. Ms. Peters was born June 11, 1952, in Marion County, to James and Mary Lou Barrett Robinson. A homemaker, she was very protective of her children and grandchildren and was famous for her hot wings and peanut butter cookies. She read her bible every day and was a woman of strong faith. She enjoyed fishing and had a love for the beach because it gave her a sense of calmness. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Peters, and two sisters, June Hedden and Doris Carter. She is survived by three daughters, Rhonda Hudson and Ronnie Gill of Buena Vista, GA, Stephanie and Alan Wells of Eufaula, AL, and Laura Beth and Gary O’Neal of Buena Vista, GA; one son, Jason Reese of Eufaula, AL; two brothers, Jimmy and Dorothy Robinson of Carrollton, GA, and Jerry Robinson of Oklahoma; five sisters, Christine Johnson, Lera Dent, Linda and Roy Dukes, all of Buena Vista, GA, Vera Sanders of Phenix City, AL, and Wanda and Bobby Davenport of Dublin, GA; nine grandchildren, Eric O’Neal, Dylan Hudson, Lexi Woodruff, Cole Woodruff, Shayne Wells, Colten O’Neal, Hallie Kate O’Neal, Austin Reese, and Chloe’ Reese; and two great-grandchildren, Taylor O’Neal and Aubree O’Neal.
