Dorothy Foster Pike 
(December 29, 1923 - September 30, 2012) 


Dorothy Foster Pike, 88 of Manchester died Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Vista 
Care at Franciscan Woods in Columbus, GA. 

Funeral services for Mrs. Pike will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 
Northside Baptist Church, Manchester with burial in the Meriwether Memory 
Gardens. Rev. Bill McCullough will officiate the services. The family will 
receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Cox Funeral Home 93 
Prather-Barnes Road Manchester, GA. 

Mrs. Pike was born December 29, 1923 in Buena Vista, GA the daughter of H. E. 
and Emma Daniel Foster. She was a secretary for the Manchester Mini Market and 
retired from Milliken Mills. Mrs. Pike was a member of the Northside Baptist 
Church and the widow of James B. Pike. 

She is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law: Jennifer and Robert 
Ray of Fort Valley, GA; Patsy and K. W. Arnold of Warm Springs; Kathy and Ben 
Eubanks of Shiloh; sister Gertrude Jones of Griffin, GA; three grandchildren: 
Tammy Thompson, Jimmy Mahaffey and Jillian Lakes and five great-grandchildren: 
Lindsey Thompson, Abbey Thompson, Justin Mahaffey, Morgan Mahaffey and Caylie 
Mahaffey. 

In lieu of flowers contributions may be given in memory of Mrs. Dorothy Pike 
to Northside Baptist Church. Cox Funeral Home in Manchester will be in charge
