Frank Powell October 14, 1938 - December 3, 2009 BUENA VISTA, GA— Frank 
Powell, 71, of Buena Vista, GA, died Thursday, December 3, 2009. Funeral 
services will be held Saturday, December 5, 2009, at 3:00 p.m. at Union United 
Methodist Church in Buena Vista with Reverend Clyde Powell, Reverend John 
Homer, and Reverend Bill Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Union 
Church Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers will be Gerard Powell, Brock 
Powell, Kenneth McAllister, Keith McAllister, Charles Hendricks, Randy 
Rodebaugh, Frankie McAllister, and John Adams. Honorary pallbearers are Billy 
Powell, Jimmy Powell, Gary Powell, James R. Welch, Ken Singleton, Mack Wells, 
and L.T. Curry.  Mr. Powell was born October 14, 1938, in Marion County to 
W.C. and Eula Wells Powell. Living in Buena Vista most of his life, he was a 
member of Union United Methodist Church.  In addition to his parents, he was 
preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Doris Jones Powell. Survivors include 
his wife, Faye Taylor Powell and a son, Kevin Frank and Sonya Powell, all of 
Buena Vista; three brothers, Clyde Powell of Tyler, TX, Billy Mack Powell, and 
Buddy & Barbara Powell, all of Buena Vista; two sisters, Beverly and Richard 
Barrett of Buena Vista and Mary Jane (Sister) Hendricks of Phenix City, AL; 
and two grandchildren, Bevie Powell and Kasen Powell. Tante Funeral Home of 
Buena Vista, GA, is in charge of arrangements.
