The funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm. Monday, Feb. 19 at Buena Vista United Methodist Church with Reverend Jimmy Ford officiating. Interment will follow in the Buena Vista Cemetery. Mrs. Pryor was born March 8, 1916 in Marion County, the daughter of the late Turner Nelson and Etta Lowe Williams, Sr. She was a lifelong resident of the area and was the widow of Charles S. Pryor, Jr. She graduated from Georgia State College for Women and from Auburn University. She taught Home Economics in Marion County Schools and later was the Guidance Counselor for Marion County Schools. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Turner Nelson Williams, Jr. and Charles Williams. Survivors include a son, Charles S."Shep" Pryor III and his wife Peggy of New Orleans, Louisiana; grandchildren, Kate and William; sisters, Helen Meek of Buena Vista and Linda Sweat of Americus; brother, William Matthew Williams of Kentucky; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts be made to Buena Vista United Methodist Church, 130 Broad Street, Buena Vista, GA 31803 and to Magnolia Manor, 2001 South Lee Street, Americus, Ga. 31709.
