The Marion County Patriot, No. 22 May 30, 1902 Page Five Death of an Infant Andley Norton, the fifteen months old son of Mr. and Mrs. S.N. Rushin, whom we mentioned last week as being seriously ill with dysentery, died Friday morning at 7 o’clock. Everything that the skill of physicians and the loving hands of relatives and friends could do was done to save the life of the little one, but God had called it to Himself and he had to obey. The burial took place at the Methodist cemetery from the residence at 5:30 o’clock Friday afternoon, Rev. W.E. Arnold performing the burial rites. A large number of the friends of the family were there to offer consolation to the living and respect the memory of the dead. Mr. and Mrs. Rushin have the sympathy of our people in their sore affliction. Card of Thanks We desire to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our friends who showed such deep concern in our recent sad bereavement. Mr. and Mrs. S.N.
