Rogers. My pen fails to do justice to her, for she was a true Christian woman. To know her was to love her. What a beautiful Christian life she lived and what a noble Sunday school teacher she was, ever pointing us to Christ. The sick will miss her she went in the humblest home to minister to the sick, now how we will miss her. No one to tell our sorrows to. Her sweet cheerful face will be missed so much, for she always turned the brightest side of everything “her life is ended but her deeds remain bright as the heavens at night.” She was a devoted wife, fond sister, faithful friend, a kind neighbor and a cheerful Christian. While we sadly miss her in the home, the social circle and the gathering of the church let us bow humbly to the will of him who doeth all things well. In this tribute the middle name of Mrs. Rogers is given as Doyle. I'm not a researcher of this family and don't know the correct name. Since she lived in Doyle, it causes me to wonder if this was an error and her middle name should be White as listed in the first tribute article.
