Mr. Rickey F. Rigsby, 66, passed away on May 28, 2017 at Magnolia Manor of 
Marion County.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 31, 
2017 at Oakland Church of God with Rev. A.R. Curlee and Rev. Mike Toomey 
officiating.  The family will greet friends on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 from 5:00 – 
7:00 PM at the funeral home. 
Mr. Rigsby was born on June 4, 1950 to the late Elgie and Ruth Underwood Rigsby 
in Chattahoochee County, GA.  He was the owner of Rigsby Drywall and attended 
Oakland Church of God.  Mr. Rigsby loved his family and spending time with his 
children and grandchildren.  He never met a stranger and would help anyone in 
need.  Mr. Rigsby was a very well respected member of the community and will be 
missed dearly.  He was preceded in death by a son, Richard Rigsby.
Survivors include his loving wife, Brenda Rigsby of Mauk; a son, Michael Rigsby 
(Connie) of Tazewell; a daughter, Karen Rigsby Usry (James Macon) of Box 
Springs; two sisters, Sue Barrett of Tazewell and Brenda Austad (Brad) of 
Plains, GA; two brothers, Leon Rigsby (Jane) and Terry Rigsby (Brenda), both of 
Ellaville; three grandchildren, Jaxon Usry, Mazzy Usry and Brooke Rigsby; and 
several nieces and nephews.
