Gene Roberts,71, of Ft Wayne, Ind. died Friday, January 27,2006, at Lutheran 
Hospital in Ft. Wayne
Gene was born October 29,1934, in Buena Vista, GA., the son of Gula E. and 
Rosetta Lumpkin Roberts.

Gene is survived by his wife, Betty Newsome Roberts: sons; Donald and Pam 
Roberts of Lakewood, Colorado; Christopher {Cindy} Roberts and Edwin Roberts 
Both of Ft Wayne.daughters; Brenda & Robert Taylor of Ossian, Indiana; Rhonda & 
Vernon Thompson of Ft Wayne;He was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth 
Roberts and daughter Vicki Hooseline.

His Siblings are Burt & Peggy Roberts of Albany, GA. ; Elaine Mathis of 
Thomasville, GA; Jimmy & Sybil Roberts of Cape Coral, Fl; Lanier & Jean Roberts 
of Vienna, GA.; Cindy & Doyle Harris , Dennis & Glynda Roberts and Trisha and 
Ron Hinze, all of Buena Vista, GA.

Services were Tuesday , January 31st, 2006 at CM Slone& Sons With Burial at 
Highland Park Cemetery, FT Wayne, Indiana

Additional Comments:
Gene had moved to Indiana after High School and had remained there all his life.
