LUCILLE ELLIOTT RUTHERFORD     JANUARY 24, 1921---DECEMBER 20,2006

Lucille E. Rutherford,85, of Columbus, died Monday , November 20,2006, at Oak 
Manor Nursing Home.Graveside services  will be 11:00 A M , Saturday , November 
25, at Brown Springs Cemetery, Marion County, GA. Hwy # 355, with the Rev. 
Jerry Guthrie officiating.
Mrs Rutherford was born January 24,1921 , in Marion Co,GA.,the daughter of the 
late George Arthur Elliott and Mary Harris Elliott.  She was a homemaker and 
Baptist by faith. She was the widow of James Wesley Rutherford. Survivors 
include; her daughters, Myra Palmer of Columbus, Carolyn Guthrie and son in law 
Hoyle of Ellerslie, GA. her sons; Harold "Greg" Rutherford and daughter in law 
Jana of Columbus, Ronnie Rutherford and daughter in law Ester of Bienville, LA; 
and Richard Weatherford of Phenix City, AL. 14 Grandchildre; several great 
grandchildren and several nieces and nephews .
