Family Funeral Program
SALES, BESSIE L CROUCH
Mrs. Sales, of Atlanta, GA, was born May 28, 1906 in Marion County, GA to 
Jerry and Alberta Crouch.  She married Mr. William Sales who preceded her in 
death. They had 21 children, six peceded her in death.  Mrs. Sales died March 
8, 1991 in the Georgia Baptist Hospital in Atlanta, GA. 
Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, March 14, 1991 at Mt Olive 
Baptist Church in Tazewell, Marion County, GA; Reverend Henry L Respert 
officiated.  Burial in the Tazewell Cemetery.  Sons-in-law served as 
pallbearers.  She is survived by 3 sons, Mr. Harry Sales of Kansas City, MO, 
Mr. & Mrs. Clyde Sales and Mr. & Mrs. Augusta Sales, all of Atlanta, GA; 11 
daughters, Mrs. Lucinda Blanford, Mr. & Mrs. Aaron (Flossie) Edwards, all of 
Kansas City, MO, Mrs. Evelyn Thornton of Tarpon Springs, FL, Mr. & Mrs. J P 
(Azzie Lee) Allen,Mrs. Grace Rushin, Mrs. Willie M McCrory, Mr. & Mrs. Johnny 
(Thelma) Crawford, Ms Erma Peggy Sales, Mr. Lela M Cook, Mr. & Mrs. Lamar 
(Elizabeth) Shelton, Mr. & Mrs. Stacey (Mary) Moses, all of Atlanta, GA; 2 
daughters-in-law, Mrs. Evelyn Sales and Mrs. Geneva Sales of Atlanta, GA; a 
brother, Mr. Joseph Crouch of College Park, GA, 2 sisters-in-law, Mrs. Lucy 
Boyd of Brooklyn, NY and Mrs. Fannie B Crouch.  A brother-in-law, Mr. & Murit 
(Ardella) Sales of Buena Vista, GA; 63 grandchildren.
