SANFORD, CHARLIE
Mr. Sanford was born in 1905 in Marion County, GA.  He married Miss Rosetta 
Holt.  Mr. Sanford died Sunday morning, September 22, 1985 at his residence.  
Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 26, 1985 at Mt 
Olive Baptist Church in Tazewell, GA.  Reverend M McDouglad officiated.  
Burial in Tazewell Cemetery in Marion County, GA.  Survivors include his wife, 
3 sons, Emmitt and James Sanford of Tazewell, GA and Ralph Sanford of Atlanta, 
GA; 2 daughters, Mrs. Mary Porter and Mrs. Evelyn  Bush of Tazewell, GA; 21 
grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 5 brothers-in-law, 2 sons-in-law, Mr. 
George Porter and Mr. Willie Bush of Tazewell, GA; 4 daughters-in-law, Mattie 
Sanford, Mrs. Ruby Sanford and Myrtice Sanford, all of Tazewell, GA and Mrs. 
Bertha Sanford of Atlanta, GA.
