Family Funeral Program April 1994
SANFORD, RALPH
Mr. Sanford was born June 29, 1939 in Marion County to Charlie and Rose Ella 
Holt.  He attended public schools in Marion County and was a member of Mt 
Olive Missionary Church in Tazewell.  He married Bertha and moved to Atlanta 
and  was a truck driver, delivering plants and flowers to the local 
nurseries.  He returned to Marion County where he died Sunday, April 24, 1994 
at the Medical Center in Columbus, Muscogee County, GA.  Funeral services were 
held at 1:00, Saturday, april 30, 1990 at Mt Olive Missionary Baptist Church 
in Tazewell, Marion County, GA.  Reverend Richard Moses of Upper Sardis 
Missionary Baptist Church,
Nephews served as pallbearers.  Burial in Tazewell City Cemetery.
He is survived by his mother, his brother and his companion, Emmitt Sanford 
and Mattie Ruth Wedner of Tazewell, two sisters and their companions: Mary 
(George Sr) Porter, Evelyn Sanforf of Tazewell; sisters-in-law, Annie Myrtice 
Sanford and Ruby Sanford of Buena Vista, GA; uncles and aunts, Mr. & Mrs. 
Charles (Mary Lee) Gibson of Atlanta, GA, Mr. & Mrs. Roy (Mary Jane) Holt of 
Tazewell, GA, Reverend Murray Holt, Eugene Holt, and Robert Holt, all of 
Delray Beach, FL and Mary Alice Holt of Americus, GA, nieces, nephews and 
cousins.
