Watson- Tante Funeral Home  Buena Vista GA  Sept 6 2014


Dennis Jarrell Scott, 58, of Buena Vista, GA, died at his residence Friday, 
September 5, 2014.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Monday, September 8, 
2014, at Buena Vista Cemetery with Reverend Raymond Smith officiating.  The 
family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, September 7, 2014, 
from 4-6PM. Serving as Pallbearers will be Matt Folds, Billy Folds, Caleb 
Scott, Guy Wiggins, Terry Roberts, Jason Scott and Eric Scott.

Mr. Scott was born June 28, 1956, in Marion County, Georgia, to L. J. and 
Gertrude Harbuck Scott. Baptist by faith, he was a member of Mt. Carmel 
Baptist Church. He was self-employed as a mechanic.  In addition to his 
parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jeromy Lamar Scott.

He is survived by his wife, Shirle W. Scott of Buena Vista, GA; a son and 
daughter-in-law, Christopher Joel and Amity Scott of Box Springs, GA; a 
daughter and son-in-law, Julia Denise and Terry Roberts of Buena Vista, GA; 
Four brothers, Allen and Julie Scott, Michael and Brenda Scott, Gary and Nora 
Scott and Buddy and Donna Scott; three sisters Cathy and Bobby Wiggins, Merle 
Wiggins and Tina Mayer, and Margaret McKenzie; and three grandchildren, Taylor 
Mattson, Ashley Scott and Dylan Scott.

Watson-Tante Funeral Home is in charge of these arrangements.
