 Died: Sat Dec 15, 2012



Bud Sheffield, 69, of Preston, GA, died Saturday, December 15, 2012, at his 
home with his loving wife, Debbie and his son, Ryan by his side.
 
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 in 
the Chapel of Watson-Tante Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Chandler officiating. 
Burial will follow the service in Preston Cemetery. The family will receive 
friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM.
 
Mr. Sheffield was born April 17, 1943, in Dodge County to Boyd and Corene 
Bowden Sheffield. He attended Midway Baptist Church and served 9 years in the 
Army. He was a Forester and retired from Georgia Pacific.  In addition to his 
parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
 
He is survived by his loving wife, Debbie Sheffield of Preston, GA; by three 
sons, Ryan Sheffield of Preston, GA, Travis Sheffield of Buena Vista, GA, and 
Tim Lewis of Sherman, TX; by two brothers, B. D. Sheffield of Okeechobee, FL, 
and Sammy Sheffield of Eastman, GA; by a sister, Margierene Yawn of Eastman, 
GA; and by 4 Grandchildren. Many Nieces and Nephews also survive.
 
Watson-Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista, Georgia, is in charge of these 
arrangements.
