Danny Paul Singleton, 59, of Buena Vista, Georgia, died Thursday, July 8, 
2010, at Vista Care Hospice in Columbus, Georgia.

A memorial service was held on Saturday July 10, 2010, at 11 AM at Union 
United Methodist Church with Reverend John Homer officiating. Music was 
provided by Seleta Rogers. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers were Ronnie 
Singleton, Mickey Welch, Joey Wells, Ricky Tyler, Harry Liggon, Lem Bargeron, 
Greg Smith, and Charles Hagler.

Mr. Singleton was born May 17, 1951, in Butler, Georgia, to Benny L. and Irma 
Smith Singleton. He was self-employed and had worked for the city of Buena 
Vista in animal control. A life-long resident of Marion County, he was a 
member of Union United Methodist Church. He was in the National Guard. He was 
preceded in death by his parents, Benny & Irma Singleton, by a sister, Debbie 
Singleton, by his maternal grandparents, Harper & Julia Wells, and by his 
paternal grandparents, Cleve & Bertha Singleton.

He is survived by his wife, Angie Feller Singleton of Buena Vista; by a son, 
Dan & Maria Singleton; by a daughter, Carollynn S. & Joey Heath; two brothers, 
Ricky & Robin Singleton and Ken & Lehanne Singleton; a niece, Ashlei S. & 
Jason Brown; three nephews, Ben Singleton, Lucas Singleton, and Beau 
Singleton, and by a great nephew, Jake Brown and a great niece, Katie Brown.

Memorial donations can be made to Vista Care Hospice, 2425 Williams Road, 
Columbus, Georgia, 31909 or to the American Cancer Society.  Tante Funeral 
Home of Buena Vista, Georgia was in charge of arrangements.
