Visitation will be Wednesday, February 2, 2022 from 11:30AM- 1:00PM at Mt. Paron Primitive Baptist Church, 51 Clark-Mount Paron Road Box Springs, GA. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 with Elder Jonathan Blackley officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Paron Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Bobby Sizemore III, Matthew Sizemore, Jason Sizemore, William Sizemore, Zac Jennings, and Chase Stallings. Mrs. B. D. Sizemore was born on April 3, 1935, the first of ten children, to John and Doris Walker Blackstock. She was a loving, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She has served the Box Springs Community for many years. She retired as postmaster at the Box Springs Post Office. She was a faithful member of the Mt. Paron Primitive Baptist Church. Mrs. Sizemore was a proud member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy (UDC). She was nominated by Sam Wellborn to serve on Flint Energies Credentials and Election Committee, where she served 26 years (1991-2017). She loved her family unconditionally. She enjoyed flowers, cutting grass, attending family gatherings, and showing up late driving fast. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Bobby David Sizemore. Survivors include their four sons: David (Bonnie) of Ellaville, Raif (Lynn) of West Point, Sammy (Terri) of Box Springs, and Cliff (Sherri) of Buena Vista; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 3 siblings.
