Family Funeral Program
Slaughter, Dorothy Ann Mrs. born September 28, 1931 to Lester and Eva Davis 
Holt in Buena Vista, GA.  She attended public schools in Marion County, GA.  
She married Richard A Slaughter, Sr., January 21, 1950 and was the mother of 6 
children.  She was a member and clerk of New Prospect Primitive Baptist 
Church.  Mrs. Slaughter was employed over 30 years by West Central Georgia 
Community Action Council as a social worker.  She died Friday, April 19, 2002 
in Buena Vista, GA; Funeral Thursday, 25, 2002 at Brown Chapel A.M.E. Church 
in Buena Vista, GA; burial in New Prospect Primitive Baptist Church cemetery, 
Buena Vista.  Elder Willie Paul Swift officiated.  She is survived by her 
husband, 6 children; Mary Ann (Willie) Thornton of Richland, GA, Richard A 
(Angela) Slaughter, Jr. of Melbourne, Fl, Gloria D (Ralph) Blue, Connie 
(Curtis) Campbell, Larry A Slaughter, Lisa A Slaughter; sister, Mary H Smith 
of Miami, FL, aunt Sophie Weaver, 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.
