Annie Kate Smith February 20, 1917- September 1, 2007 COLUMBUS, GA— Annie Kate 
Smith, 90, of Columbus, GA died Saturday September 1, 2007 at the Magnolia 
Manor. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday September 4, 2007 in 
the Chapel of the Pines, Parkhill Cemetery according to Striffler-Hamby 
Mortuary, Columbus. Dr. Don Wilhite will officiate. The family will receive 
friends today from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Smith was born 
February, 20, 1917 in Juniper, GA daughter of the late Ira Belk and Nannie Lee 
Malvin Belk. She was a homemaker and the widow of Ben Dozier and Edwin M. 
Smith. Survivors include her daughters, Nancy May of Level Plains, AL, Betty 
Niles of Phenix City, AL, Patsy Martin of Columbus, GA and Sara Milner of 
Seale, AL, her sons, John Dozier of Geneva, AL and Denton T. Dozier of 
Columbus, GA, several grandchildren, several greatÊ grandchildren and several 
great great-grandchildren.
