James Weldon Smith, II, 42, of Box Springs, GA, died Monday, August 12, 2013, 
at his residence.  The family will receive friends at Watson-Tante Funeral 
Home on Friday, August 16, 2013, from 2:00-4:00 PM. No formal service is 
planned.
 
Mr. Smith was born March 1, 1971, in Orlando, FL, to Pleasant Earl Smith and 
Linda Grissom Smith Massey. He was employed by Buck Bradshaw Cabinets as a 
cabinet maker.
 
He is survived by his father, Pleasant Earl Smith, and by his mother and step-
father, Linda and Andy D. Massey; by two sons, Wesley Lamar Smith and Weldon 
Kyle Smith, both of Columbus, GA; by a daughter, Emily Christine Smith of 
Panama City, FL; two brothers, William Earl Smith and Calvin Reece Smith, both 
of Box Springs, GA, and James Smith of St. Petersburg, FL; by three sisters, 
Cathy Pulver of NC, Yvette Smith of Suwanee, FL, and Shannon Cozort Balking of 
Arkansas; and by a step-sister, Angel Jenkins of Opelika, AL;
 
Watson-Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista, Georgia, was in charge of these 
arrangements.

Since No formal service were held He was most likely cremated .
The obit is NOT clear on this.
Relatives could inquire at the Funeral Home to confirm.
