Merrill James Stone, 25, of Box Springs, GA, died Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at 
Midtown Medical Center in Columbus, GA. Visitation will be held at the funeral 
home on Friday, March 20, 2015, from 6:00-8:00PM.  A memorial service will be 
held at the residence of Pat and Greg Johnston, 98 Oakland Way, Box Springs, GA, 
on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 11:00AM.

Mr. Stone was born July 10, 1989 in Cheboygan, Michigan, to James Michael and 
Cynthia Louise Rodgers Stone. He was Christian by faith and had been employed as 
a DJ with X-Radio. He loved being a big brother and his interests included 
antique cars, watching the weather channel, paranormal research and all sports. 
He was a super fan of the Columbus Lions Indoor Football Team.  He was preceded 
in death by his paternal grandfather, Merrill Smith, maternal grandparents, Carl 
Edward Rodgers and Louise Brooker, and a cousin, Nathan Edward Davis.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Amber Niccole Stone, 
paternal grandparents, Mike and Joy Stone of Riverview, FL, and Donna Smith of 
Etuaw Springs, SC. He is also survived by several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and 
Nephews.

An account has been set up at Ameris Bank in Buena Vista, GA, to offset medical 
and funeral expenses. Please specify the donation is for Merrill Stone.
